In honor of our alma mater's centennial, reminisce muna ng college days. I tag all the Diwatas. I hope to see you all in July and August, join tayo activities sa Peyups :)

2. nakapasa ka ba or waitlisted?
Pumasa siempre

3. pa’no mo nalaman ang upcat result?
Received letter of acceptance via our guard sa subdivision. Apparently, tinamad ata kartero kaya iniwan na lang sa guardhouse. That explains why lapit na pasukan wala pa letter ko. Dahil makapal ang sulat, I knew I made it.

4. first choice mo ba ang UP?
Yup, my dream school!

5. San ka pa nag-apply?
I also was accepted at Ateneo kaso layo ng tuition, P200 sa UP, P2,000 sa Ateneo at that time. Besides, I felt UP was the better school, he he.

6. ano ang first choice mo na course?
Accounting sana but since quota course yon, I decided to take up AB Socio then BS Stat in the meantime, then shift later to BSBAA. To shift, I needed at least 1.75 average, I did better with 1.4 but the college was not admitting at that time, so I shifted to BS Math and tada! Graduated a nerd, he he

7. Best experience?
Hanging out with the Frating Beauties at the tambayans, lagoon and the dorm. Crushes siempre, uuuuy! And realizing madami pala kaming matatalino, he he

8. Bad experiences?
Lines, lines, and long lines. Joined the RVC just to avoid the nightmare. And realizing that madami pala mas matalino kesa sa akin, nyok

I was inside the classroom, may nag-rumble sa labas, nagbatuhan, nabasag salamin sa classroom, tinamaan ako ng basag na salamin sa paa, konting hiwa at dugo lang naman.

9. Pinaka-terror mong teacher?
Prof. Cejalvo for my Math 54. Sa sobrang terror, when my classmates found out sya teacher, nag-drop lahat except 10. Kalagitnaan, 3 na lang kami sa klase.

10. Pinakamabait na teacher?
I forgot her name but I remember her face. She’s my teacher in Solid Geometry. It’s my favorite subject kaya I excelled. When I took another math course under her, she was so concerned when I got low grades.

11. Bumagsak ka ba?
Yup, Abstract Algebra, di ko talaga nakayanan, grabe. When I took it again, madali lang pala. Sometimes, nasa teacher din eh

12. nagka-1?
Oo naman! Dami, Boolean Algebra, Solid Geom, English din ata (dahil sa term paper namin nina Bingle, Badads, and Constip)

13. highest average?
1.4 Dean’s list equivalent, sa amin President’s list ata tawag dun

14. lowest?
Don’t remember, malamang 2.99999  Specially nung higher math na binubuno ko

15. lagi ka bang uma-attend ng klase?
Yes, always.

16. may scholarship ka ba?
Iskolar ng bayan 

17. nangarap ka ba na mag-”laude?”
My dream faded first sem pa lang, hay ang hirap!

18. kelan ka gumradweyt?
1986, did not join the graduation march kasi 3000 daw kami eh.

19. fave subject?
Solid Geometry, Math 55 Advance Calculus with Prof Cao, Physics 71 with Prof Rono, English with Mr. Lazo, and Duckpin bowling with AP

20. worst subject?
Zoology 40(?), drop ko nga!

21. favorite landmark in UP?
Lagoon

22. building?
CAS, my home, FC while watching professors na nagta-taichi, and Abelardo Hall specially pag may nag-iimpromtu concert na sax player

23. fave kainan?
Rodics and Manang at Abelardo Hall selling banana-q and fried lumpiang toge

24. lagi ka ba sa lib?
Oo, natutulog nga ako dun eh. I also love reading back issues of magazines there.

25. nagpunta ka ba sa infirmary nung minsang nagkasakit ka?
Never. Only went there for my physical during my freshman year

26. may crush ka ba sa campus?
Marami, karamihan mga sobrang talino

27. Boyfriend?
Never

28. anu-ano ang mga P.E. mo?
Volleyball, duckpin bowling

29. kamusta naman ang block n’yo?
very close. Still in touch with some of them (Helenacs, Bingle, Titdaday, Saree) but not all. Miss ko sina Constip, Mary Ann, Josette, Mini, Rita, Clarissa, Imelda —have not heard from them for a long long time

30. memorized mo ba ang alma mater song?
Di ko pa nga narinig ever eh

31. nag-dorm ka ba?
Yep for 1 year sa Sampaguita Residence Hall

32. did you join rallies?
Yes but only when I resided at the dorm

33. sinong prominent campus personality during your time?
Lean Alejandro, Chito Gascon

34. sinong artista ang nakikita mo sa campus?
Raymong Lauchengco and Roderick Paulate

35. naka-perfect ka na ba ng exam?
Yup. I think in Boolean Algebra and Solid Geom, perfect all the way!!!

36. dito ka ba natuto uminom o manigarilyo?
Yup. Dito ko rin natutunan na itigil.

37. ano ang gusto mo sa school natin?
The history, the intellectuals, the radicals, the masa, and the prestige. And the fact that I have to ride the jeepney to get to my next class, he he, dito lang yan.

38. ano ayaw mo?
Mahirap ang subjects, rumbles

39. bumibili ka ba sa dili-mall?
Yup, lunch at Rodics madalas, school supplies at G Miranda, and native products at one of the stalls  and even after I graduated, I make it a point to pass by dili-mall when I visit UP

Mukhang tokneneng, hmmph, sa haba ng pila, lanta ka na by the time kunan ng pic
